Jay Michaelson is a unique Jewish educator whose teaching integrates wisdom from many of the world's contemplative traditions, an immersion in contemporary culture, and a deep commitment to spiritual practice and transformation.  He has taught at Yale University and the Burning Man festival, the Wexner Summer Institute and Camp Ramah.  Jay is both a past assistant principal at the Prozdor high school of the Jewish Theological Seminary of America and the director of Nehirim: A Spiritual Initiative for LGBT Jews.  He is a dynamic public speaker, an award-winning writer, and a teacher of Jewish spirituality, environmental education, philosophy, and culture for fifteen years.
